Mix and match: Layering different flavours of ice cream

To get this sort of an effect for your homemade ice cream, all you need to do is to first make two complementary flavours of ice cream. They can be something like chocolate and bandung (rose syrup) ice cream as seen in the picture.

When filling them into a container, spoon one flavour of homemade ice cream, say chocolate flavour, and flatten it out as the first base layer. Leave to set in freezer for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, spoon in the second layer, bandung this time round, and flatten it on top of the first layer.

Repeat this as often as you like or with as many complentary flavours as you like.

When scooped into a ball, it can give a pretty decent effect.
